WHAT IS TELEMEDICINE?

Unlike many other urgent care facilities, FirstCall Medical Center offers a robust telemedicine service to our patients.

Telemedicine enables the staff at FirstCall Medical Center to deliver health care when you want it and where you want it via our web portal and mobile app. With Telemedicine you can be seen at home, at work or out and about.

Our service uses a HIPAA compliant mobile application to offer you the best care possible at your convenience. Our staff is able to diagnose, recommend treatment, and even prescribe medication to your pharmacy—all from our mobile app and website.

FirstCall Medical Center staff can diagnose and treat the following illnesses:

Sore throat, stuffy nose
Allergies
Cold and flu
Nausea, vomiting and diarrhea
Bronchitis, cough
Rashes (including poison ivy)
Tick bites
Pink eye
Urinary tract infection

And many, many more.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Requesting and receiving treatment via our app or website is easy. All you need to set up a video session is:

A camera-enabled device, and a Wi-Fi connection

You will be notified as soon as one of our medical professionals can attend to you. One of our licensed medical professionals will review your medical history and begin your consultation via video conference on your device. You can speak to the provider as long as you need to in order to receive your diagnosis.

After your consultation, our provider can prepare a work note, referral and/or prescription, as needed, that can be called into the pharmacy of your choice.

Using our telemedicine service is not only convenient, but can be a huge saving and may be less expensive than a typical co-pay. Most issues can be handled under 10 minutes. It only costs $30 for the first 15 minutes and $10 per minute thereafter. And all this is done from the comfort of your couch, desk at work or anywhere you have a device with a Wi-Fi connection.

Telemedicine services are available during normal business hours from 8 am to 8 pm.

Abdominal Pain
